Broccoli Sesame

1 lb. broccoli buds

 

Cook broccoli in small amount of salted boiling water until tender, about 10 to 15 minutes. Drain. In saucepan, combine oil, vinegar, shoyu, sugar and sesame seeds and heat to boiling. Pour over broccoli, turning to coat thoroughly. Turn out on lettuce-lined plate and provide toothpicks for spears.

1 Tbsp. vinegar

 

4 tsp. sugar

 

1 Tbsp. vegetable oil

 

1 Tbsp. shoyu

 

1 Tbsp. sesame seed, toasted
