Crunchy Chestnuts

240 g (8-1/2 oz.) can of water chestnuts

 

Soak chestnuts in soy sauce for 30 minutes. Wrap each chestnut with 1/2slice of bacon, securing with a toothpick. Place on a cookie sheet or shallow pan in a 218 C /425 F oven for 10-15minutes until crisp. If necessary, turn over once. Drain on paper towels and serve immediately.

1 package bacon (slices cut in half, low-sodium if available)

 

1/2 C Soy Sauce
