1 block firm tofu, well-drained |

1/4 C. flour |

vegetable oil |
|
2 green onions, chopped |
|
1 C. water |
|
2 tsp. liquid amino |
|
1/4 C. light shoyu (soy sauce) |

1/4 C. mirin |
| Cut tofu into 16 cubes. Coat each piece with a little flour and fry in oil until slightly browned (do not turn too early or it will break apart). Drain on paper towels. In a small saucepan, combine water, amino, shoyu and mirin; bring to a boil. Sprinkle tofu with green onions and pour hot sauce over all. Serve warm. | ||
