Peel the raw potatoes and grate them coarsely, (as if for hashbrowns). Heat the oil in a large skillet, add the grated potatoes and cook over medium heat. Turn and turn again, until they are getting nicely brown. At last put salt and make like a flat cake. Cook one side very brown and put it on a plate. |

In a large skillet, brown the meat in butter, add onion, then as it is hot put the white wine over it, keep on fire, add salt and pepper to taste, keep stirring, put white cream in it, keep stirring. A little cooking further and then offer with the Roeschti on the same plate. | |
